Our Executive committee

Alongside his public service work, Vasilios has made a long-standing contribution to the Greek community in Melbourne through major cultural events and education. He has been a key organiser of the Antipodes Festival, recognised as the largest Greek festival outside of Greece, where he has led planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination and program development to deliver a successful and culturally significant event.

Vasilios is also a Greek dance teacher with more than 15 years of experience, committed to preserving and sharing Hellenic traditions with younger generations. Through teaching, he has strengthened his leadership, communication and mentoring skills while maintaining close connections with families and youth across the community.

Professionally, Vasilios brings a strong background in information technology and business systems, with many years of experience in ERP consulting, systems support and team leadership. He has led system implementations, managed support teams and delivered training that helps organisations operate more efficiently and transparently. This technical and organisational experience supports his ability to contribute to well-run, accountable committees and modern, effective governance practices.
